Refunds
Last updated 16 September 2026
Fourteen days, no questions asked. If you are unhappy within fourteen days of your first payment, email support@landmode.app and you get all of it back. You do not have to explain why.
Why it is worded that way
A job search is a bad time to be arguing about ten dollars. If LandMode is not doing what you expected, the useful outcome is that you stop paying and get your money back, not that you build a case for it.
After fourteen days
Ask anyway. Refunds outside the window are not automatic, but they are given when something went wrong at our end — an outage that cost you a search, a charge after you cancelled, a feature that stopped working mid-period. Email and say what happened.
Where a refund is not given, cancelling still leaves you with the plan you paid for until the end of that period. You are never cut off for asking.
How to cancel
From the billing page in the app, at any time. The plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then drops to Free. Nothing is deleted when it does, and you can export everything as JSON on any plan.
How a refund reaches you
Purchases are made through a merchant of record, who is the seller for the transaction. Refunds are issued by them to the original payment method, usually within a few business days, and the credit appears under the name on your statement rather than under LandMode.
Your legal rights
Nothing on this page removes a right you have under the consumer law where you live. Where that law gives you longer than fourteen days or a stronger remedy, it wins.
