What this is

LandMode is a job application tracker. It is operated by an individual, not a company, and is in pre-alpha. Contact: erank3@gmail.com.

What it stores

Only what you give it or ask it to fetch:

• Your Google account — email, name and profile picture URL, received when you sign in. LandMode requests only the basicopenid email profile scopes. It does not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts, and cannot read them.
• What you put in the tracker — companies, roles, links, statuses, notes, contacts you record, and the full history of status changes.
• Your profile and resumes — the resume files you upload and the text extracted from them, plus the profile built from them.
• A record of every AI request — which feature ran, when, and what it cost, so usage limits and billing are auditable.

Who else sees it

It is not sold, and it is not used to train anyone's models. Three processors handle it on LandMode's behalf:

• Google Cloud — hosting, database and file storage, in the United States (us-central1).
• Google Vertex AI — when you run an AI feature, the relevant text is sent to a Gemini model. That includes your resume text and profile when you ask for a match score, a tailored draft, or search advice. Vertex AI does not use this data to train its models.
• Stripe — would handle payment details if billing were live. It is not connected to a payment provider today and nothing is charged.

AI features are never automatic. Nothing is sent to a model until you press a button that says it will, and LandMode never sends a message, application or email to anyone on your behalf.

Getting it back, or getting rid of it

Export — Settings has a button that returns everything as one JSON file, including the AI request log.

Deletion — Settings also deletes your account. That removes your sign-in, your workspace, every application and its history, your contacts, searches and offers, and the resume files themselves from storage. It is immediate, irreversible, and there is no grace period or soft-delete. Backups roll off within 7 days.

Cookies

One session cookie, so you stay signed in. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.

Changes

If this changes materially you will see it here with a new date. Since LandMode is pre-alpha and operated by one person, treat it accordingly: keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.
